"Noted Malayalam actress Subi Suresh dies after liver failure, Mohanlal, Dulquer Salmaan pay tributes"
Subi Suresh, a Malayalam comedian and talk show host, has died. On Wednesday, the actress died at a private hospital in Kochi (February 22). She was 42 years old.
Her Instagram account announced her death. Accompanied with an image of a glowing Suresh, it dropped the phrase, "Every new beginning begins from some other beginning's end. See you all later... Thanks.” Around 13,000 people liked the post. Her Instagram followers filled the comment area with condolences for the actress. 'Rest in peace, Chechi,' one person said. "We were individuals who grew up laughing on Cinemala and later Kuttipattalam," said another. Rip.”
For many years, the actress had been suffering from liver ailments. On January 28, she was hospitalised to the Rajagiri Hospital in Aluva with severe liver failure. According to The News Minute, despite being diagnosed with jaundice, she was unable to receive treatment due to a persistent lung disease.
Suresh started her career as a mimic. She belonged to the Cochin Kalabhavan troupe. Subsequently, she became a household name via the spoof classic 'Cinemala'. Almost a decade after the programme ended, her funny avatars remained in the minds of the audience. She then became the host of the famous children's show 'Kutty Pattalam'.
Suresh made waves in 2021 after confronting a nasty netizen who had written lewd comments on her fashion choices. "I'm tired of moral policing, Uncles. "I assumed he was attempting to get famous," she wrote.
Dulquer Salmaan, a Malayalam actor, rushed to Twitter to express his condolences. He stated, "I was astounded to learn about Subi Suresh. Very young with so much to do. A great loss for the Malayalam cinema industry. I'm hoping that her family and friends can get through this terrible moment."
Mohanlal remembers the actress as well. "Subi Suresh, the adored performer who captured the hearts of the Malayali audience with her laughter, has left us prematurely," he posted on Facebook. My condolences on the demise of a wonderful sister who was poised to reach new heights in acting and presenting."
